Tuesday, January 5, 2010
Scranton PA: Hospitals across the Midwestern United States have initiated the placement of privacy curtains to help reduce bacteria on the curtains. The privacy curtains are supplied by Phoenix Textiles Inc. of St Louis, MO. The curtains have been placed in the hospitals of Fairview Group (MN), Aurora Group (WI) and St Vincent’s in Indianapolis (IN). ArgentKnit fabric containing X-STATIC® antimicrobial technology is used to provide the privacy curtains the ability to reduce levels of bacteria that reside on them.*
Linda Haberstroh, President of Phoenix Textiles says "These ArgentKnit cubicle curtains will help reduce the levels of bacteria that reside on the curtains which is critical in today's environment.”
