Prior to joining Noble Biomaterials in February 2008, Steve’s career was dedicated to working in the European textile industry. Based in England, for a number of years he worked in the fashion textile sector with managerial roles within Courtauld Group companies before setting up and running his own textile agency and converting companies in the mid ‘80s.
In 2003 Steve joined Toray Textiles Europe Ltd, part of Toray Industries, undertaking the responsibilities of Sales Director in 2005. During his time at Toray, Steve was instrumental in the development & successful launch of See it SAFE®, a branded range of anti-microbial woven textiles manufactured with X-STATIC® silver fiber.
After discovering the unique technology of X-Static®, it was a natural progression for Steve to join Noble Biomaterials as Regional Managing Director EU Business and GM of Infection Control Textiles.
